In Season in Turkey in January
January is the heart of the citrus and greenhouse season. Mandarins, oranges and lemons ship from the Mediterranean coast, Antalya and Mersin greenhouses supply tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers, and stored apples and pomegranates are still moving. Pesticide residue control on greenhouse vegetables and citrus is the main focus, along with cold chain in winter trucking.
