Our Quality Commitment
Independence and Quality Commitment
Independence is the reason buyers use us. This page sets out what we commit to, what we do not do, and how we describe our work.
We commit to
- Acting only for the client who commissions the work
- Declaring any relationship with a supplier before accepting an assignment
- Reporting what we find, including results that are inconvenient
- Using recognised sampling methods and documented checklists
- Keeping client information and reports confidential
- Using laboratories accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 for the required methods
We do not
- Accept payment, gifts or commission from suppliers being inspected
- Act as a trading agent or broker
- Change findings at the request of a supplier
- Share one client's reports or supplier information with another
Clear terms, clear reports
We are precise about what each piece of work covers. An inspection examines a lot against a specification. An assessment or audit examines a supplier's systems and practices. Laboratory testing measures what is in a sample. Every report states its scope, method and findings, so you know exactly what was checked.
