Our Approach to Food Quality Assurance
Most quality failures in international food sourcing are predictable. Our approach is to identify the few risks that matter for each product and supplier, control them at the right point in the supply chain, and report facts quickly.
Five principles
How we plan and carry out every assignment.
Product first
We start from the product: its season, its typical defects, its contaminant risks and the rules of the destination market. A cherry inspection and a sunflower meal inspection have almost nothing in common.
Control at the right point
Some risks are best controlled at the farm, some in the factory, some at loading. We place inspection where it changes outcomes, not where it is easiest.
Sample correctly
A test result is only as good as the sample. We follow recognised sampling methods and keep chain of custody from the lot to the laboratory.
Report facts, fast
Reports are clear, photographic and issued quickly, with a plain conformity statement. Where a result is borderline, we say so.
Close the loop
Findings mean nothing without action. We follow corrective actions with suppliers in Turkish and verify them on site.
